Children began returning to school, coinciding with the return of stability to the towns and countryside of Deir Ezzor. But the schools lacked the lowest viability. Most were in poor condition in terms of providing services such as water, electricity, sanitation, and heating. Therefore, the project to improve the educational environment had took place in Deir Ezzor, which worked to provide schools with heating materials “heaters, fuel tanks”, moreover, classrooms that needed doors or windows had been maintained.
This project had been implemented between 12.12.2018 and 15.02. 2019.
So it covered 388 schools belonging to the educational complexes in “Al-Bseirah, Al-Suar, Al-Kasra, and Al-Jazarat”.
The following is what happened during the project:
– 2954 heaters with accessories, as well as 484 fuel tanks, and fuel had been distributed. Hundreds of children returned to their schools through this activity, after an interruption due to the severe cold in schools.
